Story
“The Old World is no longer, but by our memory it shall remain.”
You are a Voyager, an explorer of a transformed Earth, now called Revenir. The Old World was destroyed by the emergence of the World Tree, Eld Aestus, and in its roots was reborn anew, the world & all its inhabitants evolving into new, magical forms.
Voyager can mainly be found as a tabletop RPG, Voyager: Tactics - a pen and paper game where you create your own Voyager and explore Revenir, using a grid map to engage enemies in anime-esque battles.
WORLD
There are many new variants of evolved humanity & other sapient life in Revenir: the half-animal Kaibi, the undead Viemor, the goblinlike Kean, and more.
Many jobs and classes also exist: the Drakenought clad in scarlet armour fitted with jet engines, the airborne Jet Corps troopers, and the Heir, wielding Origin Weapons carved from the World Tree’s bark.
HISTORY of Voyager
Voyager (previously codenamed Vanitas) was initially born after the creation of my fan project Remnants. Inspired by RWBY’s setting, I wanted to create similar world that I could call my own: a fusion of sci-fi and fantasy with cute girls in cool outfits and weapons.
Over time, Voyager’s world became my own “kitchen sink” setting: a sandbox where I could put in all the cool ideas I liked, from blood mages to jetpack troopers and rocket-propelled dragonslayers. Much of its worldbuilding & aesthetics is inspired by RWBY, Destiny & Arknights.
At the core of this is Voyage Team Aquila, a team made up of human Vesper, the Phytosapien Niwa, half-fox Tsuki, the sky-elven Aestelle and the Shardlander Marisol.
